Cookie Policy

Read below what our cookie policy entails.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your computer. These cookies are used to remember your personal preferences. Pollux also uses these cookies so that you do not always have to fill in your details in the forms, for example, or if you want to post a comment under an article.

Which cookies does Pollux use?

Pollux uses cookies and web-statistics. This allows us to see how visitors use our website. This allows us to better adapt our website to the user preferences of our visitors.

We distinguish between the following cookies:

1. Functional cookies

These are necessary cookies on our website. Without them, our website does not work optimally. Here, according to the cookie law, we do not have to ask permission. Yet we are happy to do so!

2. Analytical cookies

We also use analytical cookies for the statistics tool, also known as Google Analytics. This allows us to measure the device used to visit the website, the IP address of your device, the IP address of your Internet Service Provider, the operating system you are using, date and time of your visit, the Internet address of the website from which you linked directly, the pages you visited and the information you viewed on the website, the geo location where you are located and the material you send to and download from the website. This data is processed anonymously and is never provided to third parties. We always adhere to the guidelines of the Privacy Act. Since the 2015 change in the law, consent is no longer required for this category either.

3. Social media cookies

Content originating from social media websites such as Youtube, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram also contain cookies. What these platforms do with these cookies is not known to us. Unfortunately, Pollux has no influence on this. We must therefore have your permission for this.

Turning off cookies
You can disable cookies. You can do this in the browser. Consult the help function or the browser settings. ATTENTION: If you deactivate these cookies, the Pollux website may no longer work optimally. This may give a different experience.

Changes to the privacy and cookie policy

There may be several changes to the privacy and cookie policy in the future. We therefore advise you to regularly check whether any changes have been made. Should the changes have major consequences, we will communicate this in good time.
